While the score line reflected a 3-0 win for Los Blancos, the defending champions didn’t have it all their own way for large parts of the game.

Celtic bullied Madrid in the first 45 minutes, and even Carlo Ancelotti admitted that it wasn’t easy during his post-match press conference.

As reported by Daily Mail, Carlo Ancelotti admitted that Madrid had to suffer before they secured victory.
"Celtic is a good team. We suffered in the first half, but it was normal to suffer here. The atmosphere at the stadium is fantastic."
Ancelotti added that he wasn’t angry with his side for their first-half performance, instead admitting that they struggled but got there in the end.
Vinícius Júnior, Luka Modrić, and Eden Hazard all grabbed goals in the second half as Celtic were put to the sword by the reigning title holders, the BBC reported.
Ancelotti also touched on the injury to Karim Benzema, adding that it was nothing worrying at the time. The French striker limped off in the first half with a knee injury.
