Valencia are looking to bring in a replacement for Carlos Soler. As reported by Football Espana, Soler joined Paris Saint-Germain in the current transfer window.

Valencia did bring in a new striker in the form of Edinson Cavani, but coach Gennaro Gattuso asked fans to be patient with the new signing.

As for Rodriguez, he still has two years left on his contract with Al-Rayyan. He's only made 15 appearances for the club, scoring five goals and creating seven others.

Rodriguez previously played in La Liga with Real Madrid, where he made 125 appearances, scoring 37 goals and notching up 42 assists.

Edinson Cavani agrees 2 year deal to join top La Liga club after leaving Manchester United this summer

Valencia’s bid to sign a top-class striker has been successful as the La Liga club has agreed to sign former Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani.

The 35-year-old Uruguayan forward has been without a club since leaving the Red Devils as a free agent this summer and is set to complete the move to the La Liga side within the next 24 hours.

According to Football Espana, Valencia reached a verbal agreement with Edinson Cavani over a two-year contract, and the Uruguayan is expected to fly out to the Spanish city from Madrid to seal the deal.
