Florentino Perez is receiving heavy backlash from Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister over his comments about the Manchester United forward’s age which has gone viral.

The Real Madrid president entered into troubled waters after he replied a fan who asked whether the club would re-sign Ronaldo with a sarcastic answer about the striker’s age.

According to Daily Mail, Cristiano Ronaldo's sister, Katia Aveiro, has now defended her brother by urging Florentino Perez to respect himself on social media.

“He’s 38 years old but he can jump two metres high in the air and stay in it for three minutes and his body has no fat. Respect yourself, old man, you are 75.”

Ronaldo is itching to leave Manchester United this summer as he wishes to keep playing in the UEFA Champions League which the Red Devils failed to qualify for this season.

Meanwhile, Barcelona has received a rare compliment from Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez who has hailed the Catalan club’s revival.

According to Goal, Florentino Perez believes the revival of Barcelona is good for world football following the Blaugrana’s impressive transfer business this summer.
