According to the Daily Express, Mbappe has now revealed he is solely focused on winning the Ligue 1 title with PSG after their ousting from the Champions League by Bayern Munich.

"Am I thinking about my future? No, no, I'm calm. The only thing that matters to me this season is winning the championship."

Mbappe's future has been a source of worry for PSG fans amid reports linking the French forward with a move to Real Madrid, who are aiming to add another star to their squad next season.

Mbappe urged to leave PSG

Meanwhile, ex-Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher has called for Mbape to leave PSG if he wants to win the Champions League, Marca reported.

The former footballer urged the Frenchman to join Real Madrid to stand a real chance of winning Europe’s most prestigious club competition.

PSG’s wait for a first UCL title continued, after failing to progress beyond the round of 16 for a second consecutive season in the loss to 3-0 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich.

PSG will concentrate on Ligue 1

Sports Brief previously reported on Mbappe expressing disappointment at PSG exiting the Champions League early on Wednesday night.

The Parisians were hoping to overturn a first-leg deficit but ended up losing in the reverse fixture, bowing out with a three-nil deficit across both legs.

PSG never really found a foothold in the tie and bar near misses, Bayern were in complete control and deservedly booked their spot in the last eight.
