  • Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe's game-changing attributes have been hailed
  • Despite making a cameo appearance in the loss to Bayern Munich, his impact was felt
  • Mbappe has set his sights on wreaking havoc in the teams' reverse fixture on March 8

Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann has hailed Kylian Mbappe for his impact on Tuesday night's Champions League tie between the German side and Paris Saint-Germain.

Nagelsmann's charges pipped the Parisians with a 1-0 victory to solidify their chances of booking a spot in the quarter-finals of Europe's premier club competition.

However, the result could have gone south for the Bavarians if Mbappe's goals had stood, per CBS Sports.

The Frenchman's impact was immediately felt - scoring a brace which was correctly disallowed for being offside - when he was given a bite of the cherry.

Aside from his goals which were chopped off, the 24-year-old caused the Bayern defence a lot of trouble for his brief time on the pitch.

Assessing Kylian's performance, the Bavarians' coach admitted the PSG star had game-changing abilities.

“Mbappé can change any match by himself. PSG woke up when he was subbed on. They're better with Mbappé than without him,” he said as quoted by PSG Report.

Mbappe fires Bayern warning

While Nagelsmann praised Mbappe, the Frenchman is confident his side can still qualify for the next stage of the Champions League despite losing to Bayern Munich.

The French Champions suffered a 1-0 home defeat to the Bavarians on Tuesday night, courtesy of a sublime volley from their former player, Kingsley Coman.

Mbappe, who only recently recovered from injury and was not at 100 per cent, came on as a substitute in the 57th minute and had an instant impact on the game.

Why Mbappe's goal was disallowed?

Mbappe made a surprise recovery from his thigh injury, starting the round-of-16 clash from the bench and scoring two goals which were disallowed.

Images show Nuno Mendes being marginally offside before he received the through ball from Neymar, which was teed off Mbappe who finished it off.

The decision to disallow the goal ruffled a few feathers, but the latest image proves that referee, Michael Oliver had his call during the game correct.
