Mbappe's actions were praised by commentators, who commended him for putting aside his own thoughts before a big game, to check on the supporter, as reported by SuperSport.

How social media reacted

A group of French fans are trending on social media after their reaction to seeing Mbappe up close.

The fans got near the Paris Saint-Germain star after he rushed towards the stands to check on a fan, Sports Brief reported.

The French team were practicing on the pitch before their game against Morocco, when a stray Mbappe shot hit a fan in the stands.

Video shows Mbappe, Hakimi hugging

Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain teammate Achraf Hakimi's bromance transcends beyond sporting rivalry, as the duo put aside the seriousness of their semi-final clash to share a warm embrace.

The second semi-final of the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup put the PSG allies on a collision course for a spot in the tournament's grand finale.

At par with Argentina's Lionel Messi, Mbappe has been the best player in the tournament, notching five goals and providing two assists in France's bid to defend their world title.
