“There is still so many challenges to reach,” Ramos added.
Football fans took to Twitter to laud the former Spain captain following his award.

Ramos being the best defender of all time should be common knowledge. Aggression, skills, aerial ability, clutch moments...Sergio have them all.
Also, he would never bottle a 3-0 lead in a UCL final.

FootballRamos omitted from Spain squad
Ramos will miss out on an opportunity to play at his 5th World Cup, after Spain boss Luis Enrique opted against taking the Paris Saint-Germain defender to Qatar.
The centre-half will not get an opportunity to add to his 180 caps for Spain at the World Cup, as well as not adding to his trophy haul for the national team.
