PSG Boss Christophe Galtier Gives a Curious Response on ‘Bad Blood’ Between Superstars Mbappe and Neymar

Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier provided a curious response when quizzed about the relationship between superstars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

The French club's near-perfect start to the campaign has been punctuated with internal wrangling among two of his three-pronged star-studded attack, Neymar and Mbappe.

Their frosty relationship came to the fore during a Ligue 1 fixture which revolved around a penalty in the 5-2 win over Montpellier.

The duo appeared to have buried the hatchet after the incident, however, the niggling rift between Neymar and Mbappe reared its ugly head during a Champions League fixture against Juventus when the Frenchman denied Neymar an obvious square pass.

Although reports of Mbappe and Neymar's bad blood have died down, head coach Christoph Galtier, who was asked about the duo once more, said:

"The technical relationship between Ney and Mbappé exists," Galtier said in his pre-match press conference as quoted by Mirror.

"It works well and the stats show that.

"But we have to have other variations in our play, otherwise it's too easy for our opponents to close us down.

"We have to find solutions out wide. Messi can take our attack to the left, we have also worked on positioning to have more variety in our play."

Despite the 'bad blood' between Mbappe and Neymar PSG remain unbeaten in all competitions, French Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League.

Galtier will hope Neymar and Mbappe will be on the same wavelength as the French champions seem to strengthen their grip on the top in Group H, as noted by GOAL.
