UEFA chiefs have released the names of the top scorers so far this season in the Champions League with Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi missing on the list.
These two players have been amongst the stars to watch in the Champions League in the last 10 seasons due to their brilliant performances for their clubs.
However, things have not gone the way of Ronaldo and Lionel Messi this season as none of them would get the golden prize for the highest goalscorer.
Interestingly, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have both crashed out of the Champions League this season and these two players would have to watch the final on television.
How did Man United and PSG crash out in the Champions League?
Manchester United were sent out of the Champions League in the round of 16 by Atletico Madrid, while Lionel Messi and his teammates at Paris Saint-Germain lost against Real Madrid.
According to the confirmation by UEFA on Twitter, Robert Lewandowski is the leading scorer with 12 goals this season.
