Argentinian DJ Fer Palacio finds himself in hot water after accusations started doing the rounds that he had infected Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar Lionel Messi with Covid19.

The Argentinian playmaker is currently one of four PSG players who are sidelined due to Covid19.

Messi spent some of his holidays back in Argentina where he attended several parties, one of which DJ Fer Palacio performed at, ESPN reported. Messi has been forced to stay in Argentina as he self isolates.

Goal.Com reports that the Argentinian DJ has since received death threats as many believe that he is the reason for Messi catching Covid19. He took to Instagram with a video where he spoke of how people were blaming him now and even proved that he does not have Covid19.

"I am a trend on Twitter because Messi tested positive for Covid-19. They relate this to me saying that I infected him. They have even called me 'murderer.' I have a lot of very bad private messages. Yesterday I got tested because I have to travel to Uruguay and I do not have Covid-19," said Palacio.

Ronaldinho risks wrath of Barcelona after comments on Messi's transfer to PSG

In other Lionel Messi news, Sports Brief reported that Ronaldinho, who is a paid ambassador of Barcelona, a club he played for between 2003 and 2008, recently made some controversial comments regarding Lionel Messi’s transfer to PSG.

Messi joined PSG in the summer of 2021, ending his long association with Barcelona, who had to let their all-time goalscorer go because of a salary cap. Like Messi, Ronaldinho also played for PSG between 2001 and 2003 before eventually joining Barcelona.

But because he is a paid ambassador of the Blaugrana, the Spanish giants did not appreciate his recent comments. In October 2021, Ronaldinho and Messi met and embraced during the Champions League clash between PSG and Leipzig in what was a heart-warming moment.
