The Red Devils were far from their best during the St. James Park trip as they were unable to see off a resilient Newcastle side to maintain their top-four grip.
Metro UK reports that goals from Joe Willock and Callum Wilson earned Newcastle a 2-0 victory as Eddie Howe’s men got revenge over United after they lost to them in the Carabao Cup final in February.
Newcastle's comfortable win further saw them leapfrog United to third in the Premier League standings as Erik ten Hag's men dropped to fourth.

Meanwhile, it has now emerged that Man United duo Antony and Dalot clashed at some point during their meeting with Newcastle.
