Who has more trophies?
In terms of silverware, Liverpool and United are considered two of the most decorated clubs in England.
United had gotten a massive edge over Liverpool during the Sir Alex Ferguson era as the Scottish manager was almost synonymous with trophies.
But things have not been the same in recent years, and United endured a miserable five-year trophy drought, a time in which Liverpool managed to win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
According to stats recorded on Transfermkt, United’s six-year trophy dry spell was quite damaging for them as Liverpool managed to pull ahead in terms of the most number of trophies won.

Erik ten Hag’s side is also in the last 16 of the FA Cup.
