Erik Ten Hag needs no time in making his impact felt at Old Trafford after moving to Manchester United from Ajax in the summer, replacing interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
The Dutch tactician started slowly losing the first two games of the season to Brighton and Brentford, but a good run of form after the World Cup has seen United make the Carabao Cup final and the dark horse in the title race.
He met the legendary manager and longest-serving United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson. He spent 27 years in the dugout at Old Trafford and won multiple trophies, including 13 Premier League and two UEFA Champions League, as reported by Goal.

The former FC Twente boss described the meeting with Fergie as tremendous and used the opportunity to send a rallying call to United fans ahead of two big nights awaiting the club, as reported by Mirror UK.

The Red Devils face a tricky test against FC Barcelona later tonight in the playoff of the Europa League, with the first leg ending 2-2 at Camp Nou.
“You can hear it in the stands that the fans feel a connection with this team, and the feeling is mutual, We're all on a journey together, moving forward game-by-game and we need the fans as well as the players to be at the top of their game if we are to create a memorable night at Old Trafford,” he said.

Ten Hag sends message to Sancho
Manchester United invested £73m in English winger Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, but he is yet to hit the ground running despite turning up under four different managers.
Ten Hag sent him on a three-month special recovery programme to build up his physical and mental fitness, and he recently returned to the club.
Sports Brief reported that the Dutch manager warned Sancho not to relent so as not to slow down his process and promised him support from the managerial crew.
