Jadon Sancho has continued to impress since his enforced break as Erik ten Hag's Manchester United continue to silence critics.

Marcus Rashford scored the first two goals after David De Gea had kept the Red Devils in the game with a string of wonderful stops to deny the visitors.

Apart from the stellar result ahead of a crunch tie against Barcelona and the Carabao Cup final later this week, hawk-eyed fans also spotted the chemistry between Sancho and Aaron Wan Bissaka down the right flank.

The Bissaka x Sancho show

Bissaka replaced Luke Shaw after 69 minutes, with Diogo Dalot moving to the left. The full back, known for his timely tackles, combined expertly with Sancho by running rings around Leicester's defence late into the game.

"AWB’s situational awareness & short passing has excelled massively. Ten Hag has drilled this into him from day one, under previous managers, they kept him as a one trick pony"

"Wan B is a strange footballer. For a guy who can't put a cross in, the ball control, movement and footwork here is quite amazing."

It is a development that ten Hag would highly welcome, given the congested schedule ahead. The former Ajax manager will be hoping to lead the club to its first trophy in six years when they face Newcastle this weekend.

Before that, they will look to overcome Barcelona in the second leg of the Europa League playoffs. The tie is poised at 2-2, but United have a slight advantage ahead of the Thursday clash.

Rashford's price tag revealed

Sports Brief has also reported that Manchester United have reportedly slapped an eyewatering €130 million price tag on in-form forward Marcus Rashford.

Rashford has been in fine shape for the Red Devils this season, with the England international hitting top form post the 2022 World Cup.

The United academy has found the back of the net 24 times so far this season, with his latest strikes coming against Leicester City on Sunday, when he scored a brace.
