Sportswear giant, Nike has reportedly dropped Manchester United striker, Mason Greenwood despite his recent social media activity.
Greenwood reportedly altered his Instagram bio to read that he was still a Red Devils player and a registered athlete with the brand.
Whilst he is still legally a Manchester United player, Nike have reiterated that the player has not been re-signed to them, in a statement to the Mirror.
"Mason Greenwood is no longer a Nike athlete."

Greenwood and his lost deals
Greenwood was dropped by Nike last year, after he was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. He was set to face trial this year, before the Crown Prosecution Services dropped his charges last week.
His contract with the Red Devils runs until 2025. The club had promised to provide a way forward once it had finished its internal processes.
Apart from Nike withdrawing their deal, Greenwood was also removed from FIFA computer games and football manager simulators.
The club also stopped selling his merchandise.
Concerns over Greenwood's return
Sports Brief had earlier reported on Man United players have reportedly rejected the idea of bringing Greenwood back into the squad.
It has been reported that some players in the squad are not happy with the idea of reintegrating the 21-year-old back into the fold.
According to the Sun, Red Devils players feel Greenwood returning could derail the progress made under Erik ten Hag this season.

Sports Brief also reported on Greenwood updating his Instagram bio, just days after charges against him were dropped.
The Red Devils youngster has not played for more than a year after facing a number of charges, including sexual assault.
The charges were dropped last week by the Crown Prosecution Service, with key witnesses withdrawing before the trial began.
