Manchester United skipper Harry Maguire has revealed he has no intention of leaving Old Trafford despite advice from club legend Rio Ferdinand.
Maguire has endured a tumultuous spell at United in recent months, with the England international failing to nail a starting role under Erik ten Hag.
Metro UK reports that the former Leicester City centre-back has been limited to just four Premier League starts so far this season, with Ten Hag preferring the partnership of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez in the heart of defence.
According to Rio, Maguire should consider leaving Man United as he has been 'disrespected' after Ten Hag opted to play Luke Shaw in central defence ahead of the skipper.

Maguire ready to fight
However, Maguire has declared his intention to fight for his place at Old Trafford and win over Ten Hag's faith.
Speaking after Man United's Carabao Cup win over Charlton on Tuesday night, the Englishman admitted that there is growing competition for a starting spot at the club.
"It felt good, I played last week as well against Bournemouth. I was unfortunate in terms of when I come back from the World Cup, I had a bad illness, to be honest, and it knocked me back for one or two weeks," he told Sky Sports.

Football"We have a lot of good centre-halves at this club, there’s a lot of competition for places and I’ll keep fighting," he added.
Ten Hag's thoughts on Maguire
Sports Brief had earlier reported that Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has endured a difficult time under new boss Erik ten Hag since the Dutch coach took over the club in the summer ahead of the new season.
Maguire has dealt with injuries and illness coupled with disastrous form, which has seen him fall down the pecking order of centre-backs at the club.
Ten Hag has experimented with midfielder Casemiro and left-back Luke Shaw in central defence since club football returned after the World Cup, and going by the manager's recent comment, there is no way back for the Red Devils captain.
