Al Nassr’s social media
Sports Brief has since established that Al Nassr was struggling for followers prior to the Cristiano Ronaldo announcement.
As a matter of fact, some time in December, the club only had 860,000 followers.
But as at December 31, the club’s Instagram has blown up after a photo of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner on their page and they currently have more than 3 million followers.
This is more than double the followers the club had just a few days ago.
Ronaldo certainly has a huge influence on social media, particularly Instagram, where he makes $2,397,000 per sponsored post.
He also held the record for the most liked Instagram post, until his rival Lionel Messi overtook his post with the now famous World Cup winning photo.
