The 18-year-old joined the Red Devils from Atletico Madrid two years ago, with Metro UK reporting the Premier League giants forked out a fee of around £300,000 to acquire his services.

Garnacho has spent the better part of his time at United with the youth teams, before Erik ten Hag handed him his maiden debut this season.

The young ace has not wasted time in proving his worth, having scored twice in just five starts.

Real Madrid interested in Garnacho

According to reports, Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on Garnacho’s development at Old Trafford and could make a move for him soon.

This is despite United's plan to offer the promising forward a new improved offer, especially considering that he has only 18 months to run on his deal at the Theatre of Dreams.

De Gea has now come out to fend off Real's interest in the young prospect, insisting the Spanish giants have no chance to lure Garnacho to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

"We won’t let him leave," De Gea told Spanish reporters via Metro UK.

Sancho trains alone

Sports Brief earlier reported on Jadon Sancho training alone after his World Cup snub, with video capturing him doing some individual work in the Netherlands.

As far as the England squad is concerned, Sancho was a crucial part of the team during the Euro 2020, but has featured for the national side just once since that tournament.

Notably, he is yet to make an appearance for the Three Lions in 2022 due to a combination of injuries and a spectacular dip in form at Man United.
