Piers Morgan has quashed reports of Cristiano Ronaldo heading to Saudi Arabian top-flight outfit Al Nassr.

Ronaldo's second spell with Manchester United came to a premature end on the back of an explosive interview with Morgan.

Currently clubless after the mutual termination of his deal with United, a number of teams have been linked with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Among the plethora of clubs, Al Nassr have shown keen interest in securing the services of the 37-year-old, with Fabrizio Romano revealing the Saudi top-flight club have submitted an official bid to CR7's representatives.

Spanish tabloid MARCA revealed the total worth of Ronaldo's contract with Al-Nassr will be close to 200 million euros per season, making him the best-paid athlete ahead of Kylian Mbappe and eternal rival Lionel Messi.

However, Ronaldo's unofficial publicist Morgan has moved swiftly to deny the reports, which are spreading like wildfire.

Reacting to a post, the British broadcaster poured cold water on reports of the Portuguese sealing a mouthwatering deal with the Saudi Arabian club.

Ronaldo could become the higest-paid athlete if his rumoured sensational transfer to Saudi Arabia comes to pass.
