Juventus are next on the list having spent £208 million over the true market value of the 36 players they've signed in that time frame.

Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and Barcelona did the shrewdest deals during that span. Atletico signed 32 players for £520 million when their true value was £592 million.

Barcelona signed 40 players for £1.29 billion when their true worth was £1.32 billion. Wolves ranked top among Premier League clubs.

Ten Hag to receive massive budget in January

Earlier Sports Brief reported on Erik Ten Hag's January budget which is expected to be more than £100 million if Cristiano leaves.

Ten Hag spent over £200 million this past summer and is hoping to bolster his squad in January, with Frenkie De Jong still his most preferred target. The Dutch tactician is hoping to bring back the Premier League to the club.

If the Old Trafford club doesn't win the title this season, it will be 10 years since they last lifted the coveted trophy.
