Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher was given the cold shoulder by Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of Liverpool's game against Manchester United.
Ronaldo, who was named on the bench by Erik ten Hag, walked across to the pitchside where Carragher and other former football players were doing analysis. Carragher now works for Sky Sports as a pundit.

Givemesport reports that Ronaldo might have had a lot of reasons to snub Carragher. The retired defender once said that Lionel Messi, Ronaldo's nemesis, was the greatest player of all time.
Carragher has also blasted Manchester United for resigning the former Real Madrid and Juventus striker. Plus, Carragher is a die-hard Liverpool supporter, an old rival of Ronaldo's team.
Either way, Ronaldo made his feelings known in what was an embarrassing moment for Carragher, who appeared to take it lightly.
At the same time, Sports Brief reported that Bruno Fernandes has suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo is still keen on leaving Manchester United this summer.

It is believed that the 37-year-old has already made it clear to United about his desire to quit the Theatre of Dreams. Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, has been hunting for a new home for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, but there have been no interested suitors.
