Sir Alex Ferguson was a surprise guest at Manchester United training ground on Tuesday, July 26.
The legendary United boss pulled up at the Carrington Training Complex as Cristiano Ronaldo held talks with the club’s hierarchy over his future.
Ronaldo is said to be keen to depart Old Trafford this summer and is said to have informed United chiefs about his desire not to continue at the club.
The 37-year-old did not join the rest of the Man United squad for their pre-season tour, sparking speculation he is trying to push for a move away.

However, the veteran striker has since reported back to the Man United training after he jetted to the UK on Monday, July 25.
Ronaldo was spotted at Carrington on Tuesday in the company of his agent, Jorge Mendes, with Metro UK reporting that he is set for fresh talks with Erik ten Hag to discuss his future at the club.
According to the publication, it is Mendes who has been pushing for Ronaldo's exit and has previously reportedly held talks with Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, over a possible move to Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Ferguson was part of the entourage that made its way to Carrington after Ronaldo's return.
The Sun claims United brought Ferguson to help convince Ronaldo to extend his stay at the Theatre of Dreams.
