Scot McTominay is set to remain a Manchester United player next season, despite interest from other Premier League clubs.
Having done a massive clear out of players at the end of the 2021/22 season, United are now left with fairly few experienced players in the midfield position.
McTominay is one of those remaining after the departures of central midfield figures including Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata.

Chelsea to rival Manchester United in race to sign Inter Milan star
FootballBecause of the efflux of midfielders at United, the club is now unwilling to let go of some key players in that position, including McTominay, reports Sunsport.
New United manager Erik ten Hag also has the likes of Fred and Donny Van de Beek at his disposal, and latest reports suggest the Old Trafford club is close to signing Frenkie De Jong from Barcelona.
An initial fee of £56million has been agreed for the talented De Jong, but it could rise to £70m with add-ons.
De Jong will reportedly sign a five-year deal at Old Trafford, and will be on a £250,000 per week wage.
De Jong’s arrival at Manchester United is likely to bring some stiff competition for a place in the tam’s midfield.
But this is no concern for McTominay, who is considered an integral part of Ten Hag’s plans for United.
