A number of Man United stars appear to have re-followed Mason Greenwood on social media.
Greenwood's teammates unfollowed him en masse after he was apprehended on Sunday, January 30, on suspicion of assault and abuse.
The players who took the drastic decision include senior players among them Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Pogba, David de Gea, and Edison Cavani.
As reported by Sports Brief, Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, and Fred were not following the youngster by Monday, January 31.
However, they now appear to have re-added the embattled Englishman to the profiles they follow on Instagram.
Victor Lindelof is the other high-profile United star who restored Greenwood to the accounts he is following.
Greenwood released on bail after three days in custody
The development comes after the 20-year-old was set free temporarily on Wednesday, February 2, pending a further probe into the serious allegations he is facing.
"A 20-year-old man arrested (on Sunday 30 January 2022) on suspicion of the rape and assault of a woman has been released on bail pending further investigation," a police statement confirming Greenwood's release said.
Mason Greenwood still suspended at Man United
Despite his freedom, the United academy graduate remains suspended at club level and will not be allowed to rejoin the team until further notice.
Sports Brief reported the Red Devils noted the star forward will not be taking part in any of their activities in the interim.
"Manchester United reiterates its strong condemnation of violence of any kind," the statement said.
"As previously communicated, Mason Greenwood will not train with, or play for the club until further notice," the club added.
