His goals are pivotal to Pep Guardiola's squad's chase for a fifth title in six years, and his injury would be a blow. His father and former City player, Alfie Haaland, has issued an update on the injury in an interview with Norway TV 2 Sports, as reported by Mirror UK.

''Firstly, I'm not a doctor and secondly, I think it's 'touch and go', yes. You can't just go two weeks without training and then jump right into a fight. There must be a progression there,'' he said.
''They can gamble on it, but if he doesn’t get proper training with the team, then he won't play. It is about how he responds to treatment in the next few days. He needs a lot of care.''

City play Liverpool on April 1 after the break before a trip to Southampton. They would then face Bayern Munich twice in the UEFA Champions on either side of a home game against Leicester City.

Sleep is Haaland's top secret

Sports Brief earlier reported that Haaland rates his sleep highly and does not joke with it and claimed in an interview it is the most important thing in his life.

He has a strict sleep schedule, goes to bed between 10 pm and 10:30 pm and makes use of technological equipment to make him sleep well and minor data of his sleep cycles.
