  • The right back threw the ball so hard, his teammate Bernardo Silva, the intended target, had to duck
  • City beat Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge to close the gap on Arsenal to 2 points

Football fans were left in hysterics on Thursday after witnessing a hilarious incident involving Kyle Walker and his teammate Bernardo Silva.

Manchester City came up against Chelsea in a fiery Premier League encounter which the away side narrowly edged 1-0.

The only goal of the game came in the second half, when Riyad Mahrez ghosted at the far post to tap in Jack Grealish’s cross.

In truth, City were far from their best on the night, but Pep Guardiola will be happy to have come out with all three points.

One of the standout moments of the game came in the first half, when City got a throw in on the right, per The Sun.

Kyle Walker stepped up to take the throw, but his effort which was bound for Bernardo Silva ended up leading to a Chelsea counterattack instead.

It was evident the England right-back had exerted too much power on his throw, and Silva decided to protect himself rather than try to control the ball.

And as expected, fans on social media erupted with wild reactions.

“Kyle Walker almost killed Bernardo Silva with that throw,” One fan joked.
“What kind of a throw is that?” Another added.

Aubameyang angered after getting subbed

Sports Brief also reported on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s anger after he was taken off during the clash against Manchester City.

The Gabon international was introduced as a substitute after Raheem Sterling sustained a hamstring injury early in the game.

To put it into context, Chelsea was in dire need of a goal, but Potter took off his lead striker with vast experience and threw on a player who before that game, did not have Premier League experience to face the reigning champions.

Chelsea labelled disrespectful for Enzo approach

As far as transfers are concerned, Chelsea courted controversy and were recently branded ‘disrespectful’ for the manner in which they approached Enzo Fernandez.

Fernandez has attracted interest from Stamford Bridge, after some solid performances enabled Argentina to win a first World Cup since 1986.

The midfielder has a massive £105-million buyout clause, which Chelsea has been unable to negotiate down.
