It’s that time of the year again when the Premier Soccer League (PSL) honours its stars of the past season.
The PSL has announced its official nominees for the prestigious awards today and fans are eager to see which stars walk away with the big prizes.
It’s no surprise that Mamelodi Sundowns are best represented among the nominees with their coaches and players in the running for some of the categories. Sundowns dominated the DStv Premiership this season, The South African reported.
The full list of nominees in each category can be found on the PSL’s official Twitter account. The organisation also explained how voting in each category would work.
The goal of the season is the only category that the fans vote for and voting will be conducted at the end of the season when all the fixtures have been concluded.
The winner of each goal of the month competition will be entered into the goal of the season category.
Ironically, Andile Jali has been nominated in a few categories. The Sundowns captain has been excluded by Hugo Broos in the Bafana but proved that he still has what it takes to perform at a high level for his club.
