Sundowns wrapped up their fifth consecutive league title with four games to go and did it in front of their home supporters.

Masandawana needed a point to achieve the feat and got that through a goalless draw against Cape Town City, Sport24 reported.

Eric Tinkler’s side travelled to the Loftus Versveld Stadium looking to spoil the party, but there was no keeping Sundowns fans quiet. As time ticked down closer to the final whistle, Sundowns fans became more vocal, knowing that their team was one step closer to extending their record.
