A draw has become common between Chelsea and Liverpool. The last 6 meetings have ended in draws, two of which were decided on penalties.

Last night's encounter had Liverpool dominating possession, but Chelsea created most of the chances and had two goals disallowed for a handball and an offside.

Klopp makes future claim

Liverpool are currently outside European places, which underlines their difficult season, and Klopp admits he could walk away if such a season repeats itself, as reported by Mirror UK.

‘‘No, thank God,’’ he said on if he has had a similar season at Liverpool. ‘‘I wouldn’t be the manager of Liverpool if I had a couple of these seasons. We have to get through it. That’s how life is. You have to fight to change your fortunes.’’

Klopp sends message to Arsenal

The Reds were beaten 4-1 by Manchester City on Saturday, drew 0-0 to Chelsea last night and will face league leaders Arsenal on Saturday.

Speaking after the game, as quoted by Metro UK, the German acknowledges the high-flying Gunners but believes his team have a chance.

‘‘...It is a home game, and our home record is not as bad as the away record. It means I am really looking forward to this game now because tonight I saw a step and that’s what I wanted.’’
‘‘Now let’s carry on. Anfield is waiting for us and we want to deliver. We have another 10 games to play and the next one is Arsenal.’’

Klopp reacts to colleagues' sackings

Sports Brief reported that Jurgen Klopp reacted to the dismissal of his colleagues in the past weeks and is worried about his future.

Antonio Conte, Brendan Rodgers and Graham Potter have all been sacked in the past few days. The former Dortmund manager accepts his antecedents are still keeping him at Liverpool; otherwise, he could be gone.
