Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Dean Henderson went viral on Saturday, October 22 after he appeared to flash a middle finger towards Liverpool fans.
Henderson was the hero of the afternoon as he produced a superb save late in the game to deny Liverpool, who succumbed to a shock 1-0 defeat.
It was Liverpool’s former man Taiwo Awoniyi, who left the Reds in 2021 without making a competitive appearance, who nabbed the only goal of the game early in the second half and it proved to be the decider.
In truth, Liverpool were far from their best, and were wasteful in front of goal as their winless run in away games this season went on.
