Footage has emerged on social media where Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior was spotted in training scoring similar goal he went on to net against Liverpool in the Champions League final.

The 21-year-old Brazilian winger was last Saturday the hero for Real Madrid against Liverpool as his brilliant goal condemned the Reds to a 1-0 defeat in Paris.

Trent Alexander-Arnold would have himself to blame as he failed to cover his department very well which gave Junior the chance to find the back of the net.

Karim Benzema shares warm hug with Kylian Mbappe after failed Real Madrid move

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe joined up with the France national team on Monday ahead of their UEFA Nations League games.

Both players have been included in Didier Deschamps’ squad for a four-game mini-tournament in the coming weeks.

However, any chance of a frosty meeting between the pair was quickly dispelled on the first day of training ahead of the incoming matches.

In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Mbappe and Benzema shared a quick hug as the France squad arrived at their training base in Paris.

Hundreds of fans hit the streets to show ‘Mad Love’ for Benzema, declaring him as Ballon d’Or winner

Sports Brief also reported how this season's Ballon d'Or award appears to be a one-horse race, with many clamouring for Real Madrid's Karim Benzema.

Top football icons, both past and current active players, have backed the Frenchman to succeed Lionel Messi as this year's winner of the Ballon d'Or.

In a post on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, hundreds of fans took to the streets to chant Benzema's name for this year's Ballon d'Or award.

The 34-year-old forward failed to add to his impressive tally of 44 goals in 46 games in the Champions League finals, however, he emerged as a five-time winner of Europe's premier club competition when Madrid pipped Liverpool last Saturday.
