The mouthwatering clash comes at a time Benzema is in fine shape having scored an incredible 16 goals in the competition so far this season.

Benzema's incisiveness in front of the goal has been key to Real's impressive campaign in the Champions League, accounting for the elimination of Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Manchester City.

Karim Benzema warns Liverpool fans and Salah

Express UK reports that the Frenchman has now cautioned the Liverpool fanbase to expect a tough duel when they face off this weekend.

Benzema noted that the Liverpool contingent is acting as if they have already won the title, warning that they will not have it easy in Paris.

"Liverpool have a lot of confidence,’ Benzema told Movistar. ‘They think they have already won the match, maybe," he noted.
"Maybe they think this isn’t the same Real Madrid as last time, these things. Maybe they think they’re favourites," he added.

The Real Madrid superstar also had a message for Salah who recently revealed he will be out for revenge against the La Liga giants after they denied him a chance to lift the European trophy four years ago.

Benzema stated:

"Salah can say what he wants. But this is a different game."

Mbappe responds to Karim Benzema's claim that he betrayed him

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Kylian Mbappe has broken his silence on Karim Benzema's suggestion that he betrayed him after he turned down a sensational summer transfer to Real Madrid.

Mbappe was on the verge of making a summer move to Santiago Bernabeu on a free transfer before he made a u-turn to commit his future to Paris Saint-Germain.

The France international is understood to have extended his deal with PSG until 2025, all but ending Real Madrid's hopes of securing his services.
