The Senegal talisman, who has been in red-hot form since the 2021 AFCON, wrapped up yet another trophy in the calendar year when his side, Liverpool, edged the Blues on penalty shootouts to clinch the Emirates FA Cup.

Ironically, Mendy saved Mané's penalty to send the shootout to sudden death but Tsimikas did the needful as Liverpool kept their quadruple chase alive with the FA Cup success, Liverpool's second trophy of the season.

In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Tsimikas' winning strike from the penalty spot led to a massive celebration from the Liverpool players but Sadio headed straight for Edouard Mendy while his teammates were already in a celebration mood.
