Arsenal target Darwin Nunez halved the deficit early in the second half but Liverpool took control of the tie once again thanks to Diaz’s strike late on.
The win summed up Liverpool’s flawless form in recent months, and Jurgen Klopp’s side is well on course to grabbing an unlikely quadruple this season.

Luis Diaz was once again instrumental for his new team and his goal made it his third for Liverpool since signing from FC Porto in January.
