Senegal have been boosted by the arrival of Africa Cup of Nations best player Sadio Mané ahead of the mouthwatering FIFA World Cup play-off clash against Egypt.
The Liverpool star joined his teammates in Marrakech, Morocco, as the Teranga Lions begin training for the big game on Friday.
In photos posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, several of the Senegalese players from AFCON have arrived as preparations continue before their trip to Cairo.
The African champions will leave for Egypt on Wednesday before the first-leg on Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Cairo International Stadium.
Senegal will host the Pharaohs four days later at their newly-built Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Dakar. The winner of the two-legged game will qualify for the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
Egypt will be hoping for revenge after losing the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations to Senegal last month.
Senegal players arrive in Morocco ahead of Egypt clash
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that players of the Senegalese national football team arrived in Marrakech like champions en-route to Cairo for their World Cup play-off against Egypt.
A batch of ten players including Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and Bayern Munich's Bouna Sarr touched down in the Moroccan city on Sunday.
The rest of the team are expected to arrive on Tuesday before the team continues its journey to Egypt for the big game.

The Teranga Lions will travel to Cairo for the first leg before hosting the same opponents four days later in Dakar.
Ahead of the game, Gomis confirmed the news of his injury on social media, making him a doubt for the clash next week.
