During the game against Norwich yesterday, Salah set a new milestone, becoming the second-fastest player to reach 150 goals at the club. Only Roger Hunt was quicker than Salah, reaching the total in seven fewer games, OptaJoe confirmed on Twitter.

Speaking after the game, Salah said he was proud to reach the total but appeared to be disappointed that he wasn’t the first, Sky Sports noted.

Following his massive achievement, social media came out in praise of the Liverpool star. Here are some of the best reactions to Salah reaching the milestone:

"2. Mo Salah. 150 goals for #LFC second only to Sir Roger in how quickly he's got there. He is a phenomenon. Best winger in the world by a country mile. Appreciate him whilst he's in an LFC shirt. You are watching greatness. #LFC #Salah"

@mike23we:

"This guy is just incredible. Best player in the world"

@GrizzKhan:

"Mohammed Salah reached 150 goals for LFC in an astonishing 233 games all whilst playing from a right-wing position. He is on course to win his 3rd golden boot in 5 years. Incredible...just incredible"

@AllFoot15299435:

"Best player on earth at the moment! Liverpool are flying"

Liverpool beat Norwich City 3:1, The Reds come from behind to secure an impressive win against The Canaries

Liverpool showed true champions mentality as they came from behind to beat Norwich City 3-1. The Reds were relentless in their efforts to keep the pressure on Manchester City and didn’t let a spirited Norwich City side stop them.

Norwich City flew out of the blocks and won a corner within the first minute of the game. By the fourth minute they already had the ball in the ball but Milot Rashica’s attempt was disallowed for an offside call.

A minute later, Liverpool should have taken the lead when Kostas Tsimikas blazed over the bar. The defender was picked out by Mohamed Salah in the box and couldn’t control the half volley, Sports Brief reported.
