Caleb Bimenyimana entered the history books for Kaizer Chiefs in their 3-1 victory over Stellenbosch FC on Sunday afternoon.

The Burundian became the first player in the history of the Premier Soccer League to claim a hat-trick that came entirely from the penalty spot. This is a very rare feat for any footballer to achieve.

Kaizer Chiefs defeated Stellenbosch FC 3-1 at the Cape Town Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

New Chiefs fan favourites Caleb Bimenyimana scored a unique hat-trick, with all his goals coming from the penalty spot, as reported by Sports Brief. Coach Arthur Zwane will be concerned that rejuvenated starting goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune had to be substituted after suffering an injury.

The win moved the Amakhosi to fourth place on the table with 15 points. Stellenbosch remained in sixth spot with 13 points.
