Inter Milan captain Samir Handanovic has suggested that Romelu Lukaku's sensational move to Chelsea was influenced by money.
Lukaku moved to Stamford Bridge last summer in a club-record deal worth £97.5 million.
According to The Sun, the move saw the Belgian ace become Chelsea's highest-earning star ahead of N'Golo Kante, Kai Havertz, and Timo Werner.
However, his reunion with the west Londoners did not go according to plan as the ex-Man United attacker flopped.

His underwhelming form saw him shipped back to Inter Milan on loan for the rest of the 2022/23 season.
Samir Handanovic speaks on Romelu Lukaku's return to Inter
Handanovic has now appeared to suggest that Lukaku's decision to join Chelsea was influenced by money but was quick to add that he always knew that the Belgian would return to San Siro.
"His return didn't surprise me because I saw how he was at Chelsea, I listened to his famous interview, you could feel melancholy and nostalgia," the shot-stopper told La Gazzetta dello Sport via Football Italia.
"In life, you often choose economic reasons in the beginning, but then well-being always takes over. If you are happy on one side, it's normal you want to go back.," he added.
