Chelsea flop Romelu Lukaku has conceded that he made a transfer mistake by quitting Inter Milan for a move back to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues re-signed the Belgian striker from the Italian giants last summer for an eye-watering fee of £97.5milion.
However, despite the fanfare that marked his reunion with Chelsea, the move did not work out as expected, as Lukaku struggled to live up to his billing.
His dip in form saw him shipped back to Inter Milan on loan this summer, with the hope that he will rediscover his spark once again with the Serie A giants.

Romelu Lukaku regrets Chelsea move
Lukaku has now come out to suggest that he regrets moving back to the Premier League with Chelsea after admitting describing the transfer was 'a mistake.'
Speaking about his return to Inter at a recent kit launch, the former Man United striker said he was delighted to be back in Italy as he exuded confidence in a brighter future with the Nerazzurri.
"I left. It was a mistake," Lukaku said, as quoted by The Sun.
"Now I am happy to be wearing this jersey, the team knows what we need to do, it’ll be a great challenge this season, and we need to continue like this," he added.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Tiemoue Bakayoko is on the verge of sealing a permanent Stamford Bridge exit after close to six years with Chelsea.
The French star has endured a tumultuous spell since he joined the Blues in 2017, as he has spent much of the time away on loan.
Bakayoko has not played for the west London club since the 2017/2018 season.
