Christian Atsu's twin sister, Christiana, could not hold back her tears as she continues to mourn the sad passing of her brother.
Atsu was confirmed dead on Saturday, February 18, after his body was found under the rubble following the devastating quake which struck through Turkey and Syria.
The former Chelsea and Newcastle United winger met his heartbreaking death after he scored a last gasp freekick to lift Hatayspor from the relegation drop zone.
Since Atsu's passing, there has been an outpour of grief and tribute worldwide, largely due to his benevolent and affable nature, per Independent.

While Christian Atsu's passing has been difficult to grapple with and taken a toll on many, the situation has been immeasurably heavy on his family, especially his twin sister.
Clad in an all-black ensemble, Christiana, who sat next to the area dedicated to signing the book of condolence open in Atsu’s memory, sobbed uncontrollably.
She courageously fought back her tears but to no avail as she wiped her tears with a white face tissue in her hand.

Orphans helped by Atsu shed tears
In a related article, orphans from Becky's Foundation were left heartbroken following the death former Ghana winger and their major benefactor, Christian Atsu.
The winger supported the foundation through his Arms Around the Child non-governmental organisation.

Footballers commiserate with Atsu's family
Stephen Appiah and Kwadwo Asamoah were among some former Black Stars players to visit the family house of Christian Atsu on Wednesday, February 22, to commiserate with them, Sports Brief earlier reported.
The Black Stars duo were there together with former Ghana international Rabiu Mohammed, Derek Boateng and Jerry Akaminko to mourn the passing of their ex-teammate.
The players were at the family home of the Ghana international to show support following his passing after being a casualty of the earthquake which happened in Turkey.
