Former Black Stars first-choice goalkeeper, Razak Brimah has revealed his availability for the national team ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

The Spain-based shot-stopper is hoping for a last-minute opportunity to make Ghana's squad following reports of injuries to Jojo Wollacot and Richard Ofori.

Brimah, who last played for the Black Stars at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, took to social media to declare himself ready for the tournament.

According to multiple reports in Ghana, Wollocat and Ofori have been completely ruled out of the World Cup due to injuries.

Brimah was Ghana's first choice goalkeeper between 2015 to 2017, and was between the sticks for the Black Stars at the 2015 and 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

However, his time with the Black Stars came to a controversial end after his rant at Ghanaians following criticisms of his performance against Cameroon at AFCON 2017.

These days he plies his trade with CD Estepona FS in Spain.

Black Stars fans storm Qatar

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that fans of the Ghanaian national football team have stormed the city of Doha in jubilant mood, as they await the arrival of the Black Stars.

The Black Stars are expected to arrive in Qatar this week ahead of the commencement of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Ghanaian football fans have been spotted jamming ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.

In a video posted on social media, hundreds of fans took to Qatar's capital to sing and dance, as they build up the excitement ahead of the competition.

Sulley Muntari advises Black Stars to remain focus ahead of World Cup

Former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari has told the current team to work hard, and luck will present itself, ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Ghana Football Association has been on a praying spree for the Black Stars in hopes the team excels at the World Cup in Qatar.

However, the 38-year-old believes the team can only succeed if they work hard.
