Ghana will play the Reggae Boyz of Jamaica in a friendly later this month as the Black Stars prepare for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The team will also face World Cup hosts Qatar and North Africa giants Morocco in a four-nation tournament to be held in Austria.

According to reports, the Black Stars will be represented by the Black Galaxies because the matches are being played out of the FIFA Calendar.

Jamaica have named coach Merron Gordon as interim manager for the game against Ghana as well as the team to face the African giants.

Meanwhile, players of the Black Galaxies travelled to Nigeria last week to acquire their visas for the trip to Austria.

The game will also serve as a chance for locally-based players to justify their inclusion into the Black Stars team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana will face Jamaica on August 20 at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Austria.
