Former Ghana international, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, has assured fans he will be playing in the Ghanaian topflight before hanging his boots.
The 31-year-old returns to Ghana after a short spell in China with Qingdao FC.
The unattached midfielder is currently looking for a new club but insists he will join a Ghanaian football if he fails to land a team abroad.
“My agent is still working on some foreign deal but if that is not sorted out, I’m 120% certain of playing in the Ghana Premier League. At the moment, there’s no offer from Kotoko but there’s an official offer from a club based in Accra,” he told Angel TV.

Agyemang Badu played for Berekum Arsenal and Asante Kotoko before leaving Ghana to join Udinese. He later played for Hellas Verona in the Serie A.
The former Black Stars player announced his retirement from international from in 2020 after struggles with his health.
Emmanuel Agyemang Badu linked to Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is reportedly prepared to sign a one-year deal with Hearts of Oak.
The 31-year-old is currently unattached after leaving Chinese club Quindao FC in January.
Badu played for Asante Kotoko before departing for Europe in 2009, but the box-to-box midfielder is prepared to sign for the Porcupine Warriors' fierce rivals, Hearts of Oak.

FootballFormer Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu turned 31-years-old today and the footballer took to Instagram to share a lovely photo as he celebrates the day.
Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, who returned from the national team last year, is revered in Ghana for his role in the Black Satellites World Cup triumph in 2009.
In a photo posted on Instagram, the ex-Udinese and Hellas Verona player is seen expressing gratitude to his maker with the emojis representing thankfulness.
