Otto Addo had a birthday to remember as his Black Stars squad surprised him with a cake at the team's base in Kobe, Japan.
The Ghanaian boss turned 46 on Thursday, June 9, and had his players around him to celebrate the day.
In a video posted on YouTube, sighted by Sports Brief, Addo blow out all the candles as they surprised him with the gifts to mark the day.
The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder went on to cut the cake which was met with applause and cheers from the players and staff.
Addo was born on 9 June 1975 in Hamburg to Ghanaian parents. He played for the Ghana national team for seven years, between 1999 and 2006.
He was named interim Black Stars coach in February this year, and qualified Ghana to the 2022 World Cup at the expense of Nigeria.
The Black Stars team are currently in Japan preparing for the four-nation invitational tournament which will commence on Friday, June 10, 2022.

Meanwhile, the novel Covid-19 has hit the camp of the Black Stars ahead of their Kirin Soccer Cup opener against Japan, FootballGhana reports.
Four players have reportedly been infected with the virus and are set to miss the opener against the host country on Friday.
Osman Bukari, Dennis Odoi, Elisha Owusu, and Kamaldeen Sulemana have all been ruled out.
