The Black Stars held their first training session on Saturday as the team prepares for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Coach Otto Addo and his technical team led twenty-eight players through rigorous exercises as the boys put in work before Sunday's game against Madagascar.
In photos posted on Twitter, the players are seen going through intensive drills and ball work as Otto Addo explains his system to the team.
The Black Stars will open their qualifiers against Madagascar at the Cape Coast stadium on June 5, 2022 and will travel to the Central African Republic three days later for the second game.
The team will continue preparations ahead of the World Cup later this year by taking part in the Kirin tournament in Japan.
Ghana will play Japan and Chile in Osaka in the middle of June.
The Black Stars had a disastrous 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and will be hoping to make a major comeback in Ivory Coast 2023.
The four times African champions qualified for the World Cup after edging perennial rivals Nigeria in the play-offs in March.
Ghana have been drawn in Group H of the World Cup in Qatar alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
Black Stars players arrive ahead of 2023 AFCON qualifiers
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that some players of Ghana's Black Stars team have arrived in camp ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next week.
The players led by captain Andre Ayew reported to camp on Saturday ahead of the team's first training session.
In photos posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Andre Ayew, his brother Jordan Ayew as well as veteran midfielder Mubarak Wakaso have all touched down.
