Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan was terrific on Saturday night helping Fiorentina condemn Juventus to the eighth defeat of the season.
Fiorentina defeated Massimiliano Allegri's side 2-0 at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence with Duncan impressing greatly.
The victory consigns Fiorentina to Europe for the first time since 2016-17, qualifying for the Conference League play-offs.
Duncan opened the scoring just before half time after connecting Giacomo Bonaventura's cross with a left-foot finish.
Fiorentina did double their lead in stoppages when Leonardo Bonucci tripped Lucas Torreira and Nico Gonzalez converted the resulting penalty.

FootballThe Viola needed a victory, or to at least match Atalanta’s result against Empoli, to guarantee their Conference League play-off place.
The first real chances saw a pair of Giacomo Bonaventura’s attempts deflected wide, but just before half-time Juve struggled to get a Krzysztof Piatek knock-down clear, Bonaventura was able to prod it into the path of Alfred Duncan to fire into the roof of the net from 12 yards.
During that move, Chiellini clashed heads with Piatek and was left bleeding heavily from his eyebrow.
An acrobatic Nico Gonzalez volley flew over the bar straight after the restart, while Weston McKennie made his comeback after fracturing a bone in his foot.
Carlo Pinsoglio was in goal for Juventus in the second half and made a stunning double save on Piatek’s header and the Bonaventura follow-up.

FootballSports Brief earlier reported that Juventus have officially opened talks with Arsenal over a possible transfer of Gabriel Magalhaes.
It is understood that Juventus’ sporting director Federico Cherubini has travelled to London to initiate talks.
The Serie A side intends to add two or three players to the deal to convince Arsenal to sell Gabriel. The Brazilian was only bought in 2020 from Lille. He has grown to become a key member of Mikel Arteta’s defence and Arsenal will need a whole lot of convincing.
