Ghana international Dennis Odoi grabbed his winner's medal after Fulham clinched the SkyBet English Championship title last night.
Odoi, a cult hero at Craven Cottage, played 18 matches and notched a goal for Fulham before switching to his current club Club Brugge - hence qualifying for a medal after the London side raced back to the Premier League in grand style.
In a post on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief Dennis Odoi gleefully celebrated with his former teammates who had clinched the English Championship trophy after smashing Luton Town 7-0.
After Fulham failed to secure a win in midweek against Nottingham Forrest, they only had to pick a win against Luton to seal their Championship success and the Cottagers did it in grand style by thrashing their opponents 7-0 in their last home game on Monday night.
The results mean Fulham clinch the second-tier English title with a game to spare.
Despite departing in the January transfer window, Odoi qualified for a winner's medal and hence was in the stands to watch his former employers in their last home game.
The 33-year-old multifunctional player joined the Premier League-bound Fulham in the summer of 2016 and went on to make 177 appearances across six seasons with the Cottagers.
Since swapping the English second-tier for the Belgian top-flight, Odoi has made 12 appearances for Club Brugge in all competitions, scoring a goal.
