Antoine Semenyo provided an assist for Bristol City in their 1-1 drawn game against Sheffield United on Monday.

The incoming Black Stars forward created the only goal for his side as they failed to hold onto their early second half goal advantage to share honours with the play-off-chasing side.

Semenyo dribbled past Chris Basham and swung in a delightful for the onrushing Chris Martin to put it away in the 49th minute.

Antoine Semenyo could have doubled the lead for the Robins but his strike flew over the crossbar from the edge of the area.

The away side equalised in the 60th minute with a brilliant finish from 10 yards but it was Bristol City who then had the better opportunities to win it.

Substitute Nahki Wells dragged a shot wide from 18 yards when he should have slid Weimann in on goal as the Blades ultimately settled for a point.

Antoine Semenyo Provides Assist As Bristol City Edge Stoke City

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that incoming Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo provided an assist for Bristol City in their slim win against Stoke City on Easter Friday.

Semenyo, who made his first start since his injury, was involved in the only goal of the game as the Robins ended their four-game winless run.

The 22-year-old setup English defender Jay Dasilva, whose cross-shot landed at the back of the net with six minutes left on the clock.

Semenyo makes injury return against Peterborough

Meanwhile, Antoine Semenyo made a cameo appearance in Bristol City's 1-1 stalemate with Peterborough United on Saturday afternoon.

Semenyo was introduced in the game after 71 minutes for Nahki Wells as the Robins went in search of a winner however it proved abortive as Peterborough thwarted their efforts.

Despite Bristol City's inability to find the winner, coach Nigel Pearson should be excited following the return of their top marksman.
