According to reports in the local media, Dr Bawumia, who is on a working visit to the Ashanti regional capital - Kumasi, will stop by at the fabled Baba Yara Sports Stadium to throw his weight behind the national team in the crucial national assignment.

The support of the entire nation has been courted by the Ghana Football Association, with the Legislative arm of government earmarking today's parliamentary session with support for the national team by wearing replica jerseys of the Black Stars.

And it is only befitting the Executive arm of government follows suit by supporting the Black Stars in the all-important fixture.
