Asamoah Gyan has urged the Ghanaian national team to play like wounded lions when they square up against the Super Eagles on Friday, March 25.
The Black Stars are set to host Nigeria for the first leg of the World Cup play-offs double-header at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
According to a report via Complete Sports, Asamoah Gyan charged the Black Stars to make history by qualifying for the World Cup at the expense of Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Ghana Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia has confirmed he will be attending the first-leg World Cup play-offs between the Black Stars and Nigeria.
According to Ghana Soccernet, Bawumia is on an official visit to the Ashanti Regional capital and has decided to visit the Baba Yara Stadium to lend his support to the Black Stars.
Ghana will derive confidence coming into Friday's game from their head-to-head record against Nigeria as the Black Stars are yet to lose to the Super Eagles in 16 years.
